Via online message boards as well as Facebook and other forms of social media, the outpouring of sorrow and grief at Noble’s passing has been widespread. Offshore racers and fans around the world continue to express sadness at the loss of Noble, who was a leader and a pivotal member of the offshore racing community.
“The service will be in the same format as those for Joey Gratton and Reese Lewis,” said Mike Fosse, who is engaged to Noble’s sister, Shari, and was Noble’s first throttleman when he started racing in 2007. “When J.R. attended those memorials, he said that’s what he wanted, all the racers to come in their race uniforms for a celebration.”

All of the speedonthewater.com team members express their condolences to Noble’s family and friends.
