Featuring new GPS antennas with updates 10 times per second, Livorsi Marine‘s new GPS speedometer models are more accurate than ever, according to a press release from the Grayslake, Ill., company. The new antennas are available for Livorsi’s analog GPS speedometers with recall as well as its digital GPS speedometers with total odometer and three resettable trip odometers.

Livorsi is now offering its latest analog and digital GPS speedometers with a new, faster GPS antenna (center).

Featuring “lighting-fast 10Hz 10x per second updates” and a four-foot harness with ring terminals, the new antenna does not require any calibration and can be mounted underneath a dash.

“Both speedometers update 10 times a second, which means the lag time is eliminated so you get real-time readings,” said Mike Livorsi, who founded the company more than 25 years ago. “The new antenna increases the accuracy and reliability of our latest speedometers. What’s nice about the speedometer with the resettable trip odometer is that you can reset when you get fuel and calculate how many miles you can boat on however many gallons.”

According to Livorsi, the antennas are NMEA 0183 compliant, which means you can use them with any display that accepts an NMEA 0183 input. The GPS speedometers are available in standard or oversized cutouts with several speeds and color options to choose from. Large graphics and fluorescent pointers make them easy to read no matter what the conditions. The company’s Mega and Race Rims are available in a variety of brilliant UV-resistant colors as well in a polished stainless-steel rim.
