Featuring inboard- and outboard-engine-powered catamaran classes, the two-race season-opener will be held on New Zealand’s famed Lake Taupo.
The first race is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. (EST) and 4 p.m. (PST). The second race is scheduled to begin 8:30 p.m. (EST) and 5:30 (PST). Livestream coverage typically starts 15 minutes before each race.
This year, the New Zealand Offshore Powerboat Championship Series will host the first four rounds of the ANZAC Cup. From there, the offshore racing battle between the Aussies and the Kiwis moves to Australia, with the four-event series there kicking off July 23-24 in Bowen, Queensland.
