Lickity Split DCB M35 Ready for Water Testing

Fresh from the rigging bay at DCB Performance Boats in El Cajon, Calif., the Lickity Split M35 Widebody catamaran you’ve been following here is set to hit the water next week. The DCB crew put the finishing touches on JP O’Donoghue’s 35-footer this week and plan to run the Visual Imagination-painted boat next week before delivering it to O’Donoghue in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

Sitting pretty on an Extreme Custom Trailers masterpiece, the Lickity Split DCB M35 Widebody is ready to roll.

According to O’Donoghue’s friend Brad Kloepfer, DCB’s Dave Hemmingson and Tony Chiaramonte are planning to spend a couple of days on the lake with O’Donoghue as he gets the feel for the catamaran powered by twin Mercury Racing 1350 engines.

As expected the M35 looks flawless, and O’Donoghue is ecstatic to get it. The slideshow below includes images from throughout the rigging process to the hose test and final adjustments that were done Wednesday before putting the boat on its trick triple-axle trailer from Extreme Custom Trailers.
