One of the most eagerly anticipated poker runs of any given performance-boating season, the Jacksonville River Rally Charity Poker Run June 4-6 has opened registration. For the second year in a row, the run, which benefits Camp Amigo—a North Florida camp for children who have suffered severe burns—is back in the hands of its original organizers. The event enjoys one of the most loyal followings in the poker run world and attracts participants from around the country.

Last year’s event attracted approximately 40 boats for Friday’s fun run and more than 60 boats for Saturday’s poker run. For TJ Bailey, the founder of the popular Boatfreaks.org online community, the 2015 run will be his sixth Jacksonville event.
“Bill Pyburn, Sr., and Bill Jr., as well as the entire crew in Jacksonville always make sure everyone has an awesome time,” said Bailey, who will tackle the run with Spring Bailey, his wife, and friends in his 32-foot Active Thunder V-bottom. “From the smallest and oldest performance boats to the baddest poker run monsters, everyone is always made to feel welcome. The Jacksonville River Rally Poker Run is at its heart what this crazy sport is all about—good times with awesome friends on the water.”
