For more than 20 years—21 to be exact thanks to this year’s successful event— DCB Performance Boat has tapped into the Arizona side of Lake Havasu for its annual Owners Regattas and the event always has attracted a slew of veteran and first-generation DCB owners. This time around, the organizers at the El Cajon, Calif.- based custom catamaran and V-bottom company decided to switch things up move the weekend-long happening’s headquarters from its longtime Nautical Inn location to the London Bridge Resort. And while there was some nostalgia among the 345 attendees that filled 73 boats, the change was by most accounts a welcome one.

By switching venues, DCB’s leaders kept everything under one roof, a goal they set based on customer feedback from past regattas. Festivities included a welcome party Friday evening, a poker run to Havasu Springs on Saturday and an awards banquet that evening.
