On scene for this weekend’s Offshore Powerboat Association Lake Race on the Lake of the Ozarks in Central Missouri, speedonthewater.com chief photographer Pete Boden set up a shoot to showcase the latest Speed On The Water wear created by Dean Loucks of The Art Of Design. Diligent and determined, Boden never misses an opportunity to promote the brand—in fact, he creates them.

The third event of the OPA season, the Lake Race attracts teams from around the country as well as popular local outfits such as Performance Boat Center (the event’s title sponsor), CMS (in what could be only its only regular-season appearance) and Wake Effects (the 2017 defending national and world champion in Super Boat International’s Superboat Unlimited class). At present, 37 teams spread across 10 classes are registered for the event.

All races are scheduled to happen today—starting at 11 a.m. CST—on the popular waterway. Look for a report on the 2017 Lake Race on speedonthewater.com.
