Owned by Jesse and Stephanie Neumann of Minnesota, the first Nor-Tech 500 Sport Center Console turned heads in its debut during last weekend’s Florida Powerboat Club Miami Boat Show Poker Run and Exhibit in Key Largo. The 50-footer is the Neumann’s third Nor-Tech in four years—they previously owned a 390 before stepping up to a 450 dubbed Salty Wife—and the latest addition to the Fort Myers, Fla., company’s high-performance center console line of models from 34 to 56 feet.

The short story of the new model? Its development was driven by Stephanie Neumann’s high-octane desire for a 50-footer.

The long story? For that, you’ll have to wait for next Speed On The Water digital magazine to go live next month. But it’s safe to say the Neumanns, who live to take their nine- and 11-year-old daughters on boating adventures (especially in the Bahamas) are thrilled with their new prize.

Having recently purchased a second home in Southwest Florida, the Neumanns plan to keep the boat in the Sunshine State this year. Another Bahamas adventure is their future, but before that they’ll allow Nor-Tech to showcase the Stephen Miles Design-painted beauty at the company’s late April 30th anniversary celebration and dealer meeting in Cape Coral, Fla.

Said Stephanie Neumann regarding her family’s third Nor-Tech called DIRTy Money in a nod to their excavation business, “The third time was a charm.”

From any angle, the new Nor-Tech 500 Sport Center Console is a beauty.
