Sitting aboard her father’s stunning blue M31 Widebody catamaran from Dave’s Custom Boats on Shuswap Lake in British Columbia, Canada, 12-year-old Chelsey Macaulay decided to grab a quick panoramic photo. And why not? It was the perfect still moment on the pristine lake, and three more DCB catamarans filled the frame.

Did we mention that young Chelsey Macaulay absolutely nailed it? Without question, this is one of the prettiest images to come our way so far this year from either an amateur or a professional photographer.
In addition to the twin Mercury Racing 1100 engine-powered 31-footer owned by her father (Brad Macaulay) Chelsey captured, from left: an M35 cat with Mercury Racing 1075 SCi engines owned by David Crow and Windy Burke of Farmington, N.M., an M31 cat with Mercury Racing 700SCi engines owned by Chad and Diana Budge of Jackson, Wyo., and an M35 cat with Mercury Racing 1350s owned by John and Yoon Chilton of Goodyear, Ariz.
Time to get this kid some serious camera gear. Good thing the holidays are just around the corner.
