After a yearlong COVID-19-forced paused, the seven-race Penrite V8 Superboats season began anew in late March at Spitwater Arena in Keith, South Australia. Among the competitors in the LS class were Bastian and Nate Mullan, the sons of seven-time Australia Unlimited V8 Superboat champion Phonsy Mullan. And as often happens during a weekend of high-speed ditch-racing action, 16-year-old Nate found himself off the course.
But not before taking some of the sldelines with him.

The amazing thing? Despite his high-flying mishap, Nate Mullan finished second in the LS ranks.
They make them tough and resilient Down Under. Especially in the Mullan clan.
