With three boats taking up a good chunk of floor space at this year’s 46th annual Barrett-Jackson, which is known as the world’s greatest collector car auctions, in Scottsdale, Ariz., the DCB Performance Boats display is easily one of the highlights of the massive show, which started last Saturday (Jan. 14) and runs through Sunday (Jan. 22) at WestWorld of Scottsdale.

As you can see from the image of above, the display includes three catamaran models from DCB’s popular M-Series lineup. To the right is the latest M41 Widebody, which is powered by twin Mercury Racing 1350 engines, and to the left is an M35 Widebody powered by the same turbocharged 1,350-hp engines from Mercury. And in the foreground is DCB’s latest M29 outboard-powered catamaran featuring twin Mercury Racing Verado 400R engines that Scott Sjogren, the company’s Midwest and East Coast dealer, had built for a customer.
Of course we realize a picture of all three of these beauties on the water would be even more Image of the Week worthy, but we’ll take the next best thing, which is a cool picture of all three on display surrounded by a variety of high-end vehicles under a massive tent in the middle of the desert.
According to DCB’s Jeff Johnston, the foot traffic at the weeklong show has been exceptional, especially toward the end of the event when some of the more “serious buyers” come into to town to walk the show.
“Each year we’ve sold at least one boat here at Barrett Jackson,” Johnston said, adding that the El Cajon, Calif., company will be back in 2018. “We’ve also noticed that the residual exposure is good for a couple of more sales over the next 12 to 18 months.”
