Last week, we asked members of our Speedonthewater Friends Facebook page to post photos of their sport catamarans 32 feet long or smaller. And—to put it mildly—the response from proud sport cat owners was fantastic.

When it comes to pride in ownership, the sport cat crowd is tough to be beat.

Wherever possible in the gallery captions above, we’ve supplied the name of the owner (or former owner who posted the image) and the make, model and year of the boat. While a few of the photos were taken by professional photographers, most are of the amateur variety, which is part of their real-world appeal.

Thanks in large part to Mercury Racing’s 400R engine, new sport cats are hot right now—MTI just released beautiful 34-footer and Skater has seven 318 models in the queue. But as this gallery proves, they never really cooled down.
