In our most recent Speedonthewater Friends Facebook page photo challenge, we asked members of the group to post photos of their pets on the water. And—no surprise—the entire effort went to the dogs, from pure mutts to purebreds. The response was from pet/powerboat owners was outstanding.

OK, we admit this photo challenge was silly and goofy. (Yes, things do slow dramatically during this time of year in the go-fast boating world.) Then again, it was great fun to see how many powerboat owners don’t leave their pets, many decked out in their own canine-specific PFDs, at home when they head for a day on the water.
