As if taking delivery of a new Nor-Tech 390 Sport center console—their third—weren’t enough of a rush for Darren and Phyliss Bannister, last Wednesday the Canadian couple had another treat coming. The Cape Coral, Fla.-based company had a model-line photo session scheduled, and thanks to a combination of good timing and a beautiful build their 39-footer was included in the shoot.

Next up for the 39-footer is the Florida Powerboat Club Key West Powerboat Week event. Photos by Kevin Lane copyright Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats.
As he is for every Nor-Tech he sells, Peter Roberts of Ontario, Canada-based Double R Performance was on hand for the Bannister’s delivery. He’ll also join the couple for the Florida Powerboat Club Key West Powerboat Week early next month.
“Just like that, the boat comes out of the factory and it makes the photo shoot,” Roberts said. “I have to admit, I wasn’t super sure about the interior color combination in the beginning. But as it came together, I could see it was going to be a stunner.”
As noted, the the couple’s 390 Sport center console will be in the mix at the upcoming Florida Powerboat Club affair and its traditional photo shoots. The Nor-Tech group travels as one during the Key West event, and the company is expecting 15 to 20 to participate.
But the Bannisters won’t have to worry about images. They already have them.
