Despite that the Miami International Boat Show finished its five-day run almost a month ago, there’s still residual work to be done for a least one participant. Performance Boat Center is in the process of bringing back a Cigarette Racing Team 50 Marauder, which was on display during the show and is powered by twin power-level-adjustable Mercury Racing 1550/1350 engines, to its facility in Osage Beach, Mo. The full-service, multi-brand new and pre-owned powerboat dealer ordered the 50 Marauder as part of its Lake of the Ozarks showroom inventory.

Performance Boat Center co-owner Brett Manire said he had the boat moved from Miami to Fort Lauderdale when the show concluded, and kept it there, under close watch of course, to attract potential buyers. While there was some interest, he said, no firm offers came through so the boat is headed back to Performance Boat Center on its custom-built MYCO trailer. Before leaving Florida, the 50-footer logged a little time—there are just two hours on its engines—off the coast for a photo shoot.

“If we don’t sell it before the Cigarette Rendezvous in June, we’ll have it there,” he said. “It’s an ‘inventory boat’ and we stepped up big for with this one with the 1550 engines, the all-Alcantara interior and the MYCO trailer. Now it’s time to sell it.”
