If you’re into high-performance powerboats you’ll probably recognize a few of the catamarans in this gallery, the photos for which were supplied by the members of our Speedonthewater Friends Facebook Group when we asked them to post pictures of their cats 34 feet and longer. In fact, if you don’t recognize at least one of them—a certain 50-foot turbine-powered 50-foot Mystic Powerboats catamaran—we’ll be shocked.
The cats and their keepers (in sequence): Brett and Sharon Scott-Spraggins, 2016 DCB M35; Micheal Stancombe, Skater 36; Carin Bergfeld Croak, 2012 Liquid Glass 41; Win Farnsworth, DCB M41; Win Farnswroth, Mystic 50 (photo by Jay Nichols; Grant Grisham, Spectre 36; Brandon Larson, Skater 36; Cole Liebel, Skater 388; Donald Porter 2008 Nor-Tech 3600 Super Cat; David Southern, Skater 388; Doug Thumser, 37 Talon; Chris LaMorte, 2000 Skater 36; and Robert Brown, Eliminator 36 Daytona.
But in the slideshow above you’ll also dicover a few cats you’ve never seen before or haven’t seen in a long time. Regardless, there’s nothing like a photo gallery packed with full-size go-fast catamarans to get the blood flowing, especially on a Monday morning.
We know the boating season is fading fast in most part of the country. We hope this helps slow it down.
