Details, details—a Nor-Tech 390 Sport Center Console is stealing the Toronto Boat Show.

Although it’s not exactly loaded with go-fast catamarans and V-bottoms, the Toronto Boat Show, which started Jan. 20 and runs through Jan. 29, has does have at least one fine high-performance model on display. And it’s a beauty—a “Bentley Blue’ Nor-Tech 390 Sport Center Console with triple Mercury Racing Verado 400R outboard engines.

Peter Roberts, the co-owner of Double-R Performance, a full service new and pre-owned powerboat dealer in the area, brought the boat to the event. Roberts said that while the 39-footer is by no means a “theme boat,” his color choice for the model—hull No. 131—and its diamond upholstery and gray diamond flooring were inspired by a Bentley luxury automobile.

“They did such a beautiful job with it at Nor-Tech,” he said. “We sold the boat to a Canadian buyer right before the show.”

According to Roberts, the boat on display in Toronto is Nor-Tech 390 Sport CC No. 131.

“Hull No. 100 was the 100-mph Nor-Tech 390 we displayed last year in Miami,” he said. “This one is No. 131. I ordered hull No. 150 the other day and got a July delivery date. So my math says that is 50 Nor-Tech 390s in 17 months. That’s’ good news for the industry and the economy.”
