Four Horsemen Poker Run Seeks Volunteers

With the ninth annual Four Horsemen Poker Run June 7-9 less than a month away, event organizer Shannon Radtke is still looking for volunteers to help staff the Oshkosh, Wis.-based event. To that end, Radtke and company will hold at meeting for those interested in helping out at the Dockside Tavern, Wednesday, May 23, starting at 6:30 p.m.

Volunteers are needed for course marshal and safety boats, event setup and operation including raffle ticket and gear sales, and more.

“Though I’m looking for six to eight volunteers, I will take as many as I can get,” said Radtke. “I will find jobs for all of them before and during the run. During the meeting, we’ll discuss all of the volunteer opportunities and start assigning people to their posts.”

“Even if I could have a couple of volunteers around Saturday morning for any ‘unforeseen circumstances’ while we’re out on the run, that would be great,” she added. “And I definitely need some help getting set up on Saturday morning.”

At present, there are 70 boats registered for the poker run.
