Showcased in the January/February 2017 issue of Speedonthewater digital magazine, this Outerlimits SL 41 V-bottom is being offered by American Custom Marine. The first Outerlimits sportboat to be offered with outboard engines, the 41-footer is equipped with a trio of Mercury Racing Verado 400R powerplants. (The Bristol, R.I.-based company currently is completing its second triple Verado 400R-powered SL 41.)
The boat is owned by Dave Burgess of St. Clair, Mich. Burgess currently is in the process of buying another full-size V-bottom sportboat. “I love the SL 41, but I really need a sit-down boat,” he said. “But I enjoyed using it in Florida last winter and in Michigan last summer.”
Mounting on hydraulic jack plates, the boat’s triple 400-hp supercharged outboards have 55 operating hours, and their three-year warranties are transferable. As powered, the 41-footer has reached 107 mph. An aluminum trailer is included.
Price is $529,000.
