FB Marine Group has been awarded a government contract to refurbish, refinish and repower two 28-foot coastal patrol boats for Miami-Dade County and PortMiami. The news was announced in a press release from the South Florida marine sales and full-service dealership, which has locations in Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach and Aventura/Miami.

FB Marine Group has been a “preferred service provider” for Miami-Dade County, which according to 2015 census report is the most populous county in Florida and the seventh most populous county in the United States since 2012. Once the refreshment project is complete, the aluminum-chambered vessels will be used to patrol PortMiami.

Once completed, the two, 28-foot aluminum chambered boats will patrol PortMiami.
