Headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., FB Marine Group has added a luxury yacht sales division. The news was announced in a press release from the full-service new- and pre-owned multi-line powerboat dealership.

Yacht broker Shawn Johnson will head the company’s newest division. According to the release, Johnson is a lifelong boating enthusiast who previously owned and captained a 63-foot Hatteras Motor Yacht. Before entering the yacht brokerage world, Johnson sold luxury high-rise condominiums for the 13 years in South Florida, and he remains active in the real estate world.

“Shawn has a lifetime love for the boating experience, which includes both power and motor yacht ownership,” said Randy Sweers, the manager partner of FB Marine Group, in the release. “In addition, he also enjoys helping buyers and sellers with luxury real estate. Shawn has a unique position to help clients market their current vessels, and assists them in finding a new one; whether it’s moving up in size, downsizing or just starting out.”
