Outfitted with twin Mercury Racing 700SCi engines, Mystic Powerboats‘ C4400 “demo boat” is ready for its first season on the water. Final interior details and tweaks were completed last week, according to Scott Sjogren of Pier 57 Marine, the custom catamaran and luxury performance center console builder’s global dealer headquartered in Gurnee, Ill.

The 44-footer, which boasts the Mystic name in demo boat-appropriate large letters on its hullsides, is the second C4400 cat produced by the DeLand, Fla., builder. Called Agent Provocateur, the first 44-footer is powered by twin Mercury Racing 1100 engines and has already been run in two events. The third C4400 is in rigging, and the fourth is “being wrapped up,” Sjogren said.
“We made a few updates on the second boat,” he added. “We went with different gunwale pads and flip-up bottom seats, front and rear. We also added a new sound system.”
