Participants who register for the 2018 Erie Poker Run June 21-23 in Pennsylvania and the Ray Nuchereno Memorial Poker Run Aug. 9-11 in Buffalo, N.Y., before Feb. 28 will receive a $100 discount off the $400 boat-and-owner entry fee. Registration for both Elite Poker Runs LLC–produced events opened to today.
Organizer Anthony Scioli said he is shooting for 60 boats at each run.

“This year I am going to concentrate on providing the best-value poker runs in the country,” he said. “Both events will be changed a little to accommodate more sponsorship opportunities at the same time increasing value for the boat owners and their guests.
“The Erie Sports Commission is 100-percent committed to our Erie event and McLaren of Boston is planning on bringing a bunch of cars and a hauler to that run,” he added. “And Buffalo will have a changed course with actual stops for your cards.”
The 2019 Ray Nuchereno Poker Run will include a new course with card stops.
