If the silence coming from Iconic Marine Group—the parent company of the Baja, Donzi and Fountain powerboat brands—has been deafening of late, it’s for good reason. The Washington, N.C., company has been working on 2020 models for the boat show season, which officially begins next Wednesday when the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show opens its doors.
The eye-catching new 41 GTZ is one of three Donzi beauties that will be on display at the 2019 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
In addition to the rebirth of the revered Donzi 38 ZRC, a sit-down V-bottom sportboat, Iconic will showcase two new Donzi offerings at the annual South Florida exhibition. Both are based off existing models, one a classic and the other introduced in 2018.
The celebrate Donzi’s double-nickel birthday, the company is bringing a 22 Classic 55th Anniversary Edition to the show. Building off the outboard engine-powered Donzi 41 GT platform unveiled last year, Donzi will display the new 41 GTZ, which sports an attractive T-top.
This special edition Donzi 22 Classic celebrates the 55th anniversary of the Donzi brand.
As for the Fountain, its display presence in Fort Lauderdale will be formidable. In addition to four updated center consoles from 34 to 38 feet, Fountain will exhibit its next-generation 39NX and 43X center consoles.
Classic and contemporary Donzi offerings will be on display in Fort Lauderdale next week.
