Located on the Outer Mole in the Truman Annex area, the VIP hospitality area is serviced by complimentary water shuttles from Fury Water Sports on Front Street. The shuttle service is among the many amenities included in the VIP package.
In addition to access for the Friday and Sunday races, VIP pass-holders will have access to the VIP hospitality area on Wednesday—the opening day of racing—though the area will not be catered that day. Cash-bar and food vendors will be available on the Outer Mole during the day, according to a Race World Offshore press release.
The APBA/UIM offshore world championships for the catamaran classes will be decided in Key West this year. World champs in the V-bottom ranks will be crowned the following weekend at the Offshore Powerboat Association-produced event in Englewood Beach, Fla.
