Desert Storm Poker Run Registration Open

Registration for the 2022 Desert Storm Poker Run, set for April 20-24 in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., is open. The news was announced this morning in a press release from Storm Poker Runs, which produces two events—Desert Storm and Monster Storm—each year.

Registration is open through March 20 and on-site registration will not be offered this year, according to the release. In addition to opening registration for participants. Storm Poker Runs has opened Desert Storm sign-ups for vendors, partners and more. All can be accessed through the organization’s website.

As in years past, the event will include a Top Speed Shootout on Saturday following the poker run on Friday. The Storm Poker Run team is encouraging would-be shootout-committee members to apply.

In 2021, the Desert Storm Poker Run attracted 239 boats and tens of thousands of visitors to its Thursday Street Party and Exhibit on McCullough Avenue. The organizers are expecting a similar if not larger turnout, so they are encouraging past and new participants to register early.

The Monster Storm Poker Run is scheduled for September 30-October 1. Registration will open in June.
