Deep Impact to Debut New-Look 399 Models in Miami

Designed to be impressive, luxurious and purposeful, the 399 Sport and 399 Cabin models that Deep Impact Custom Boats is planning to debut in February at the Miami International Boat Show have company representatives beyond excited.

Deep Impact will show off its new 399 Sport at next year’s Miami International Boat Show.

Renderings of the redesigned 39-foot center consoles showcase more modernized styling thanks to a new aerodynamic hardtop with improved wind deflection and a redesigned console that the company is expecting to be a major selling point.

The updates to the 39-footer were a priority set forth by Mark Fischer, who owns Boats Direct USA, the factory outlet arm of Deep Impact and Blackwater Boats, when he purchased the Deep Impact assets in 2014.

“There are a lot of things we’re thrilled about with the new 399 models, but Mark is super excited about the console cabin of the 399 Sport,” said Boats Direct USA’s Monique Hausheer. “Thanks to the combined depth of the hull and the boat’s impressive front width, the console cabin is extremely spacious. In fact, the space inside the console is similar in size to most cabin boats on the market today.”

According to Hausheer, two people can sit upright, watch TV, take a nap and even sleep overnight comfortably in the air-conditioned console cabin. There’s a stand-up head compartment with a shower, a small galley and a microwave.

Here are a few more renderings of the 399 Sport and 399 Cabin makeovers coming from Deep Impact.

Hausheer, who said the first new-look 399 Sport will be painted Lamborghini Orange and powered by quad Mercury Racing Verado 400R engines, added that the new 399 Cabin features a similar console cabin (minus the head compartment) but an jaw-dropping forward cabin.

She said the top half of the 399 Cabin was completely redesigned to accommodate the new forward cabin layout, which has a Queen-size bunk up front and a twin-sized, aft-cabin design that allows you to sleep up to four people comfortably. The cabin boasts a full 6 feet of headroom and is complete with an assortment of creature comforts, including A/C, a kitchen, a microwave, a flatscreen TV and a stand-up shower.”

Deep Impact is also in the process of redesigning the 36 Open and 36 Cabin to match their larger siblings. You can take a closer look at the 399 Sport and the 399 Cabin on the Boats Direct USA website.
