Crystal Coast Grand Prix Race And Class Breakdowns

With the first contest of the day happening at the Crystal Coast Grand Prix in Morehead City, N..C.—Classes 2, 3 4, 6 and 7 currently are finishing up on the 4.3-mile course—the first offshore race of the entire 2020 season is close to being in the books. Though the races will not be carried live online, speedonthewater.com will provide coverage  with images captured by chief photographer Pete Boden this evening and tomorrow morning.

Conditions are calm with light winds and intermittent rain showers.

What follows is a list of races, the classes within them and the designated number of laps for each contest

Race 1: Classes 2, 3 and 4 (10 laps). Class 6 (eight laps). Class 6 (eight laps). Class 7 (six laps)

Race 2: Modified V and  Stock Vee (10 laps). Class 5 (eight laps)

Race 3: Class ONE (14 laps). Vee Extreme (11 laps).  Super Stock (11) laps.

Starts are staggered between classes in each race.
