The scariest moment of the 2016 Super Boat International Offshore World Championships, the WHM Motorsports Skater catamaran’s launch off the overturned Pro Floors Racing MTI cat leads a new video teaser dubbed “Crisis Averted” for the upcoming NBC Sports three-part television program chronicling the event in Key West, Fla. JM Associates, which produced the series, released the minute-and-a-half promotional video yesterday.

As spectators in Key West and fans who watched the event via SBI’s Livestream broadcast will recall, the Superboat-class incident occurred in the first turn of lap No.1 during Sunday’s race. Neither WHM Motorsports teammates Billy Mauff and Jay Muller nor the Pro Floors Racing duo of New Zealanders Wayne Valder and Chris Hanley were injured in the dramatic wreck, and WHM Motorsports actually completed the race and finished in third place. (The team finished second overall.)
