Countdown to Miami: Cigarette to Unveil ‘AMG-Cigarette Technology Project’

In a press release this morning, Cigarette Racing Team announced it will unveil the latest “AMG Cigarette Technology Project” during the 2013 Miami International Boat Show. The project debut will happen on Media and VIP Day, Thursday, Feb. 14 at 10:45 a.m. at the Cigarette display (booth B-23)

“All I can say is it’s going to be big,” said Skip Braver, the owner and chief executive officer of the Opa-Locka, Fla., custom high-performance powerboat company.

Beyond that Braver had no comment.

Cigarette’s first collaboration with Mercedes AMG resulted in the AMG-Cigarette 50’ Marauder.

The next stage of Cigarette Racing Team’s ongoing collaboration with Mercedes AMG will be announced at the 2013 Miami International Boat Show next month.

Cigarette’s first collaboration with Mercedes AMG resulted in the special edition AMG-Cigarette 46-footer with the first pair of Mercury Racing 1350 quad overhead cam engines, which was unveiled at the 2010 Miami event. In addition to the latest AMG-Cigarette project, the boat builder will display a 42’ Huntress performance center console, an updated version of the 39’ Top Fish called the 39’ GT, a 39’ Top Gun Open and a 50’ Marauder with twin Mercury Racing 1350 engines at the 2013 Miami event.
