Cigarette has two more orders—one with twin outboard engines—for the 39′ Top Gun Open.

Introduced at the 2011 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in late October, Cigarette Racing Team’s first 39’ Top Gun Open, dubbed a “true performance center console” by Cigarette’s Skip Braver, sold a little more than two weeks later. According to Braver, the owner and chief executive office of Opa-Locka, Fla., custom high-performance-boat company, the builder already has two more orders for the open-layout 39-footer.

“We’re building one with triple outboards and one with twin outboards,” said Braver. “Both will at the Miami Boat Show in February—we’re laying out the display right now.”

Braver said Cigarette will have other “surprises” at the Miami event, though he declined to provide details.
