Powered by twin 1,100-hp turbocharged engines, the Cigarette Racing Team-Mercedes AMG 41’ SD GT3 performance center console, which was unveiled alongside the Mercedes-AMG GT3 racecar that inspired it, isn’t just the sixth collaborative marketing effort between the iconic boat and automobile builders. The 41-footer is the world’s most powerful stern drive center console offering released to date.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Mercedes-Benz performance brand again this year to design our fastest open performance center console powerboat yet,” said Skip Braver, the president and chief executive of Cigarette Racing Team, in combined press release from the two companies. “The 41’ SD GT3 embodies our brand’s commitment to innovation and craftsmanship and once again shows the strength of our collaboration with Mercedes-AMG.”
With Mercury Racing NXT6 drives putting the combined 2,200 hp to the water, the estimated top speed of the boat, which weighs a little more than 20,000 pounds, is more than 100 mph. The boat’s design and fittings reflect the dynamic characteristics of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 automobile. Featuring matte components, the 41-footer’s handcrafted interior and exterior include complete teak wood flooring and a full extreme marine-grade leather interior—a first for Cigarette—was designed by Gorden Wagener, Head of Design Daimler AG, and his team, according to the release.

“Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing are known for iconic products,” said Wagener, “Designing the 41’ SD GT3 we used some unexpected design elements from our Mercedes-AMG GT3 to create another racing icon, the most powerful “open performance” boat ever produced by the Cigarette Racing Team.”
