Broward Trailer in Growth Mode, Bonafide Joins The Team

Thanks to its growing business, Broward Trailer & Equipment in Hialeah, Fla., is making substantial moves to partner with dealerships and boat builders across the country. Up until this point, the manufacturer of premier, high-quality, custom boat trailers has sold them direct from the factory, but with more demand for better trailers to haul bigger boats, Broward is making moves to grow its business.

“Thanks to today’s economy we are seeing the largest and heaviest center consoles, catamarans and other high-end boats ever built,” said Jim Nall, president of Broward. “Customers need premium trailers to safely haul these very expensive boats and we are here to help them.”

One key to expanding the company’s presence in the marketplace is the hiring of Mark Bonafide—formerly of Evolution Trailers—to lead the effort. Bonafide, the new vice president of sales and marketing, brings more than 25 years of sales experience with dealerships, boat builders and trailer manufacturers to Broward.

Mark Bonafide, left, is excited to be joining forces with Jim Nall and the rest of the team at Broward Trailer.

“Broward Trailer has prototyped and built trailers for high-end brands like Boston Whaler, Cigarette Racing Team, Contender, Donzi Marine, Fountain Powerboats, Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats, MTI and Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats, and has a huge range of designs on file,” Bonafide said. “With Broward’s 3D trailer design we can quickly design new trailers for a perfect custom fit.”

Nall, who has a booth at this week’s Miami International Boat Show, was elated to have someone with Bonafide’s experience join the team.

“People want custom choices such as steps and ladders, tool boxes and drive guards—and if you can dream it, we can do it.,” Nall said. “We build and design trailers to last. With our full fabrication shop, we can build custom aluminum boat cradles for dealers and marinas. We also build commercial haulers for transport companies that use our trailers day in and day out. That says a lot about our quality.”

Bonafide said he couldn’t be more excited about the new position.

“I am already working with boat builders and dealers to show them how Broward Trailers can help,” Bonafide said. “Come see us at the Miami show or call me at 407-913-9222.”
