Between a feature examining the myth of the cover-worthy 50 Marauder from Cigarette Racing Team complemented by an inside look at the iconic company’s Owners Rendezvous hosted by Performance Boat Center on Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks in June, the latest edition of Speed On The Water Magazine, which can be downloaded for free here or by clicking on the cover image below, is heavy on the Cigarette content.

But that’s not all this 95-page digital magazine offers. The May/June 2016 issue includes highlights from nine of the biggest events in the country, not to mention a six-page recap of the highly attended and extremely charitable Pirates of Lanier Poker Run in Georgia. It also features an informative article written by Eric Colby on high-performance life jackets as well as a project story on the 40-foot Skater Powerboats catamaran Wicked Addiction that received a makeover courtesy of Maryland Offshore Marine Center and Waves and Wheels.

You’ll also find a fun read about the adventures of Mark and Eileen Fischer. Mark, who owns BoatsDirectUSA.com and OffleaseOnly.com, turned 50 in May, and the South Florida couple are celebrating like only they know how—by spending much of the year on an over-the-top 50th birthday tour with trips to the British Virgin Islands, Cuba, Europe and more.

And while we know it does nothing to assist those closest to our boating family members who died in an accident the day before the Pirates of Lanier Poker Run, we close this issue with a memorial page dedicated to Art and Melissa McMahan and Anthony and Tammy Reece. May they rest in peace.
