Boyne Thunder Poker Run Opens Sponsor Registration

Celebrating its 20th anniversary next year, the Boyne Thunder Poker Run opened sponsor registration this morning for the July 7-8 event. The Boyne City, Mich.-based happening supports a pair of local charities for children—Camp Quality USA Michigan and Challenge Mountain—and sponsorships represent a significant portion of the event’s fundraising efforts. Before general registration even opened last year, sponsor registration had reaped almost $200,000 for the event.

Five sponsor levels are available, the most basic of which is the $2,500 land-based Bronze sponsorship, which does not include a boat slip. All three of those sponsor packages come with one slip.

Open to vessels of all shapes and sizes, the Boyne Thunder Poker Run offers sponsorship packages from $2,500 to $20,0000.

Added Day, “We can’t wait to kick-off our 20th Annual Boyne Thunder Poker Run and if phone calls and emails are any indication, it appears our dedicated participants are as well.”

Would-be sponsors can register via phone only by calling 231-582-9009.
