BBLADES Shifting Into Winter Tune-Up Mode

With the constant flurry of propeller repairs and tune-ups during the boating season behind them, Brett Anderson and his crew at BBLADES Professional Propellers in Princeton, Wis., are encouraging the owners of dormant boat to send in their wheels during the next two months to avoid the spring rush. To that end, Anderson is offering his traditional winter discount program. For propellers that arrive at the company between January 2 and February 28, the BBLADES shop-labor rate will be discounted more than 20 percent from $115 an hour to $90 an hour.

“It’s never too early to start planning for your next boat outing so act now and you won’t be waiting in line when spring comes,” he wrote in a recent email sent to existing BBLADES customers. “You’ll be ahead of the game and ready to hit the waves before your friends.”

Anderson also encouraged current and would-be customers to explore BBLADES’ test/demo program during the off-season. The company’s own specialty propeller lines, as well as those of other manufacturers, are available for use through the program.

“We offer competitive pricing on most major brands and can match the perfect prop to your boat through free consultation,” Anderson wrote. “The propeller demo program also allows boaters to ‘try before you buy.’ And, those needing replacement wheels can order online.”
