The talented team AO Coolers in Corona, Calif., has decided to lend its support to a cause near and dear to many people’s hearts— the fight against cancer. In an effort to do so, the company is inviting you to donate and/or join the team as it heads out to the Stand Up for a Cure event at Newport Dunes on Saturday, May 7 to paddle for a cure and have a little fun at the same time.
The AO Coolers team, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, is seeking additional support for its latest fundraising event.
According to Brian Hatch, president of AO Coolers, the team is going to be paddling around California’s Newport Beach to raise awareness for beast cancer. Participants can help the team raise funds by making a donation or by joining along to have a blast paddling around. As Hatch said: “Come have some fun and help save lives—all of the funds go to the OC affiliate of Susan G Komen for the Cure. Every $125 we raise may save a life by enabling a mammogram.”
Hatch said this year’s paddle, which includes an “AO Coolers BBQ Celebration” following the event at Newport Dunes RV park, is dedicated to Charlotte Hatch and Mary Choate. To donate or join the AO Coolers team, click this link. Or for further details, email [email protected].
