Thanks to many organizers around the country, a couple of weeks after announcing the addition of the new Speed On The Water 2021 Events Calendar we’ve managed to collect a pretty substantial list. That doesn’t mean we’re done, by any means, so we are asking for the people behind any powerboat events or races to reach out to us with dates and relevant event information, including host location, contact information, charity involvement and more.

With more than 70 events already on the calendar with several of them overlapping, especially in the months of June and August which tend to be quite busy, we only expect the calendar to continue to grow. But it can only do so with your help—so, if you notice we’re missing something, please let us know. We’re hoping the Events Calendar becomes the resource we were thinking it could become as we put the wheels in motion after finally turning our “wish list” item into a reality to start the year.

Along with the Florida Powerboat Club, Fort Myers Offshore and Elite Poker Runs season schedules, there are a ton of staples on the list, such as the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, the Tickfaw 200 Poker Run, the Jacksonville River Rally And Poker Run, the Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix, Skaterfest and more.

There are also some newcomers, including the Pack The Pantry Poker Run in March in Punta Gorda, Fla., which is hosted by the same team that’s behind the Englewood Beach Waterfest offshore races in November, and the Offshore Powerboat Association’s Elk Rapids Grand Prix in Northern Michigan in August.

A few emerging events expected to increase in popularity from their first year are the Sarasota Blast On The Bay Fun Run in Florida, the Exotic Run in Michigan, the Florida Powerboat Club’s Orange Beach Poker Run and the Roar Offshore Fun Run in Florida. Then there’s the rebranded springtime event hosted by Antelope Point Marina on Lake Powell in Arizona dubbed Rock The Dock, that is sure to be a great event.
