110 Boats Ready for Today’s Buffalo Poker Run

Following speeches by Steve Mckie of the Western New York Offshore Powerboat Association and Tres Martin of the Tres Martin Performance Boat School, more than 100 boat owners headed out to their rides parked in front on Templeton Landing to get ready for the 120-mile Buffalo Poker Run presented by Double R Performance.

Several Outerlimits model are ready for today’s Buffalo Poker Run.

Martin, who put together one of his classes on Thursday, donated three signed lifejackets that were used by boat school participants for the past seven years that will be auctioned off this evening for the Wounder Warrior Project

From catamarans from Eliminators, Nor-Tech, Skaters and Spectres to V-bottoms from Cigarettes, Hustlers, Outerlimits, Panteras and Statement, the variety of boats at the event is impressive, especially considering there are brand new models and boats represented from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s.

Check out the slideshow above for more images from this morning’s gathering.

Check back later today for more updates from the poker run after my ride in Bob Funk’s 32-foot Spectre (below).
