“As always with our constant consideration on safety. we’ve changed to five groupings,” said Bobby Cantwell, a member of the 1,000 Islands Charity Poker Run organizing committee. “We’ll have two paceboats per group and boats will be required to run two by two in the narrows.”
The basic $750 registration fee includes poker run entry, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday for the driver and copilot and three nights of dockage. Additional passengers are $175 per person. For participants who only want to enjoy the dinner and auction, the cost is $125 per person.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
“All of the sponsorship information is on the website,” said Cantwell. “And sponsors can sign up there.”
